A Poem About Regret
You say you want what’s best for me
Yet you give me no room to breath
What’s best? A you without me
I’ve lived a life without a chance
A life that didn’t make sense
One that passed by without a glance
Your two cents makes no sense
You’re broke and confused
My emotions are left minced
And I was the one who was used
The regrets with you are a number I can’t see
A person I would never want to be
Hiding behind a mask of what I believe
And yet you seem to find a way
For me to think of you each day
For me to wonder that road astray
Your two cents makes no sense
You’re troubled and undone
Your emotions left on the fence
You take off and run

I love that! Great rhyme and rhythm, and the frustration came through. Voted up, interesting, beautiful, and awesome!
